BBC micro:bits are used in Year 6 computing lessons for children to design, write and debug their own programs. We enjoyed using coding to create a simulated, animated animal on the computer monitor, which was then downloaded to the physical micro:bit device. This activity allowed Year 6 to showcase sequence, selection and repetition skills in computing.
